a.Brush painting: Brush painting requires more paint and commonly used for wood and other uneven surfaces. Metallic parts and automobile bodies are painted by spray paintimg which gives a very fine finish and at the same time consumes less paint.

b.Spray painting: spray painting is done by spray gun and compressed air. The pressure of air must be regulated by deducting valves and it should also be pressed through moisture separator, so the cleaned dry air is supplied for painting. The spray gun contains the container to hold the painting and also spray adjusting device.
