Buffing is the process in which the tyre casing to be re rubberized has its tread area rasped down to remove all the original old rubber so that uniform, roughned surface is provided. The buffer tread of the worned tyre is shaped to that of the counter of the matrix.

The pressure of air must be regulated by deducting valves and it should also be pressed through moisture separator, so the cleaned dry air is supplied for painting. The spray gun contains the container to hold the painting and also spray adjusting device.
